I have created this website to reach parents with young children. My goal in writing my books was to help parents understand what I wish I would have understood when my children were little. About the Author
I am a Montessori preschool teacher and the mother of three grown children. I've written two children's books. "Love is..." was created for my two gay sons. It is the book I wished I would have had when they were little. The book pictures all the things that love is... love is gentle, love is kind, love is sharing, love is caring. It also pictures where love lives... it lives in families with a mommy and a daddy, it also lives in families with two mommies or two daddies. It is a gentle way to open the world of love to your child.
All the things that love is, all that love is supposed to be and above all; that real love is always unconditional!
Love is love no matter who we love!
My second book, "Everyone Has A Heartlight", encompasses a curriculum I designed with the help of many Montessori mentors and friends. I have used the curriculum every year - and every year something magical always happens. The children's response to the curriculum would never fail to bring joy to my heart and tears to my eyes. Their little hearts are so open it is so important that we are careful with each one!
